I studied Drawing and Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee between 1973 and 1977.
After graduating I worked, full time, as a medical artist before going into freelance illustration in the mid eighties.
Throughout this time I continued to paint, exhibiting regularly in the annual Royal Scottish Academy and The Society of Scottish Artists annual exhibitions.
In 2003 I was asked by the organiser, Richard DeMarco, to exhibit work in The Festival Of The Sea Exhibition.
Over last few years, painting has overtaken illustration and I have exhibited work in various galleries in the U.K.. Notably, The Morningside Gallery (Edinburgh), McGregor Fine Art (Glasgow), Panter and Hall (London) and more recently The Hecla Gallery.
I also exhibit annually at a small gallery near Kalamata in the Greek Peloponnese.
My work is in collections across Europe, The U.S.A., Canada and Australia.
