Jane Maddison graduated from Croydon College of Art in 1972 and started a small business in West London producing tiles and blinds. She then moved to Lincolnshire where she established her Ceramics Studio, concentrating on Sculptural work and Domestic Ware.
Jane used a variety of techniques including Raku and Salt glazing, also developing a surface decoration called Intaglio. She also transfered her skills by teaching for 16 years.
Jane is a Professional Member of the CPA. her work can be seen in many galleries and is exhibited widely throughout the UK and Europe. Her work was seen recently in the CPA Galley in London.
Jane now concentrates on affordable Domestic Ware, Platters, Vases, Dishes, Candle Holders and especially her extremely popular Winebreathers.
