Julie Allison studied at Duncan of Jordanstone achieving her BA Honours degree in 2003. The following year she set up her workshop in Glasgow and has been selling and exhibiting her work through out the UK. She is currently based in Edinburgh at Coburg House Art Studios where she gets lots of inspiration from the architecture.
Julie started off designing and creating her jewellery inspired from her memories for her degree show and it has continued and developed ever since.

A lot of Julie’s work tends to bring out the inner child in her wearer. The kinetic elements on her rings and bangles and refer to her childhood days with 10p mix-ups.
Julie often creates one off commissions for people who want a special memory captured in precious metal.
